It is a bear ^-^

Not just a bear, it's a polar bear! But it became brown because it roll all over on the brown thingy :D

Australia `/Day 1

This summer holiday, I had a winter vacation. Because I went to Australia and it's ain't hot, in fact it's cold and windy. It was last week I went to Australia with my family and my mom's friends and their family, all together there are 19 of us (: We took the plane at night at and it took 8 hours to reach Melbourne. By the time we arrive it's 9am Melbourne time! The time difference between Melbourne and Malaysia is Melbourne is 2 hour ahead of us. So it's like +2 the time in Malaysia.

After everyone are ready to go, we get into our van/ mini coach.

Our first stop is Melbourne Museum.

Actually, we did not go to the inside of the museum, the tour guide just bring us there to take photos...

Okay, seriously there's nothing else to capture over there... We stay there around 10~20mins i think then we go to visit the church. Sorry I don't know what's the name of the church >__<

 After that we went to this place.. to see Cooks' Cottage

 The cottage is quite small. To visit the inside you need to pay so we didn't go in...

Then we walk to the Treasury Garden. There are a lot of flower inside.

BTW me and my sis share the camera and she took these pictures (flowers). She loves taking picture of flowers.

The thing behind the coach is to put all of our luggage.

Next, we stop at this place.. a convention or something and there are a lot of classic cars outside of the building.

Then we head to the Gallipoli Memorial Garden.

Melbourne Central Railway Station

After that we went for lunch at Shark Fin Inn Restaurant in China Town. And no, we did not had Shark Fin.
(Even if there is shark fin I will refuse to eat it! Because you should know what did those cruel people did to the sharks!)

There are a lot of people in the restaurant, the locals and tourists. Many were waiting to go in too.


I don't know why the tour made us eat Chinese food in Australia almost everyday (4 days).. just because we are Chinese -_- Can't we just have the local food there?

After our lunch we went to Ballarat - Sovereign Hill. It takes 3 hours to get there from Melbourne D: -_-

 Gold mine tour

 We had to sit on this thing, it brings us deeper inside the ground.

 Takes around 1~2mins to arrive here. ⇡


It was really dark inside and we had to walk very far to reach here ⇣

 He is showing us the lift thing that people use to travel to the Gold Mine. If it doesn't work the people have to climb the ladder.

 Here is where the people can rest during the break time.

 Going up now.

People can try to harvest some gold from here. Lol.

Then we walk over to the Gold Museum.

 

While waiting for the others. We took some pictures here.

After another 3 hours ride. We finally arrive here to have our dinner. Once again at Shark Fin Inn Restaurant -_- (another branch, not the one in the afternoon)

 Then we get to go the hotel! Victoria Hotel.

 Big TV :D Victoria Hotel is the best hotel out of the 3 hotel we stayed because they have TV that have many channels~

After that we walk to the casino named Crown.

 We are almost there! (Crown)

 Before that we go to 7 Eleven to buy stuff.

Bought this adapter because we forgot to buy 1 in Malaysia.

Before going to the casino we went to have supper.

 I bought something like apple pie (forgotten the name D:) from Calatrava and a hot chocolate. And my sis got herself vanilla cake i think D:

 Our legs were really tired so we took taxi to get back :D


We went to the computer room in the hotel because we need to web check-in for our Gold Coast flight and print the paper out.

After that we go to our room, watch TV a while then go to bed :D
